Will my policy be cancelled if I file a claim?

Generally in Florida, if you a file a claim, your policy of insurance will not be cancelled simply as a result of filing the claim. The insurance company may choose not to renew your policy after the policy period has ended, but they would have to give you proper notice for that under Florida law.
