Why should I hire a public adjuster? Isn’t the insurance company adjuster going to help me?

The insurance company’s adjuster should help you, but you have to remember, they’re employed by the insurance company. What you may want to do, especially if you are not very experienced in this area, is contact a public adjuster to represent you and make sure that your rights are protected.
