Why is the insurance company entitled to all of this personal information?

An insurance company isn’t necessarily entitled to all personal information. If the personal information is related to the claim they are entitled to get it. If it’s not related to the claim, generally speaking, they’re not entitled to get it. If you have any questions about whether the information is something that the insurance company is entitled to, you should ask an attorney.
