What happens if I, or my contractor, finds additional damage after my claim is settled?

In Florida, unless you’ve signed a release, which is a specific legal document provided by your insurance company, if you find additional damage after your claim has been settled, you should file what is called a supplemental claim through a competent professional, such as a public adjuster or an attorney.
