Should I hire a public adjuster?

Public adjusters are great. They do a great job generally of quantifying your loss and presenting the claim to the insurance company. Actually, statistics show that those claims where there’s a public adjuster involved, the insurance companies actually end up paying more in benefits, but you do have to keep in mind that they are going to be entitled to a professional fee for the services that they render, and generally it’s going to be out of the money that they obtain for you.
