Is termite damage covered under my homeowners’ insurance policy?

Generally termite damage is not covered under a homeowner’s insurance policy. However, under certain circumstances if you have a collapse of part or all of your home, the damage that ensues as a result of hidden decay or hidden damage resulting from termites may be covered. If you have any questions, it’s best to consult with an attorney regarding this matter.
