How long after missing an insurance premium payment can I still keep the insurance policy?

If you miss an insurance premium payment, the insurance company has the right to cancel your policy. However, the insurance company must give you notice before they can cancel your policy. Once the insurance company has given you notice regarding the missed payment, you will have a very short amount of time within which to make your payment or else, under Florida statutes, under Florida law, the insurance company may cancel your policy.
