How do law firms work with public adjusters?

Generally, attorneys and public adjusters work hand in hand together. The public adjuster is generally the first person there to represent the client’s interests. They present the claim, quantify it and present to the insurance company. After a certain point when it’s been partially denied, or completely denied, or legal representation is needed throughout the adjustment of the claim, that’s when the attorney steps in and takes the reins of the claim and finishes the litigation.
