Are claims for accidental damage handled differently than claims resulting from a natural disaster?

Generally speaking, accidental damage under a policy is covered, and certain types of natural disasters are covered. Other types of natural disasters, such as flooding, may be excluded. What is included or excluded from coverage under your policy is going to depend on your specific policy and any endorsements to that policy.
