Hillary B. Cassel
Mrs. Cassel began her legal career practicing as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida. While working at the State Attorney’s Office, she prosecuted serious felony offenses and tried over forty jury trials to verdict. Upon entering private practice, she worked for approximately six years in the field of first party property insurance defense thereby bringing a unique perspective to Geyer Fuxa Tyler. During her time as an insurance defense attorney, she litigated extensively in both State and Federal Court with an emphasis on coverage, liability, and bad faith for various domestic and international insurance carriers. Her proficiency in defending insurance companies against property claims has proved instrumental in her ability to effectively represent policyholders in litigation against their insurers. She is currently admitted to The Florida Bar and is licensed to practice in Federal Court in the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
